Dan Sutch on Beyond Current Horizons and the Innovations Handbook

This seminar introduces Futurelab's 'Innovations Handbook', which aims to help teachers and school leaders develop innovative approaches to learning and teaching by offering practical tools, advice and argument to support changing practices. The presentation also introduces Beyond Current Horizons (a project run by Futurelab and the DCSF that is building a long-term vision for education in the context of social and technological change), exploring some of the possible social and technological developments of 2025 and beyond. By presenting both Beyond Current Horizons and the 'Innovations Handbook', this seminar offers visions of long-term futures whilst providing the tools for teachers and schools leaders to shape their schools' near-term futures.
